Your journey from the Black Marsh has been nothing short of eventful.

You departed the swamp on good terms with Biblebee, sharing a portion of the dragon’s hoard as a gesture of respect and alliance. Not all ties were left so clean—Harissa now bears you ill will, for she had trusted you to help prove the halfling connection, only to see her aims fall short.

From there, your travels carried you to the old manor, now restored to a place of promise. Here, the people spoke of a brighter future—one where St. Cuthbert’s light and the Crown’s authority might work together to rebuild what was broken.

At the Shaded Lantern, you were received as heroes. Stories of your deeds spread quickly, and soon the tavern swelled with eager Lanternies, each desperate to hear more of the adventurers who dared challenge fate. In a quieter moment, Togar spoke of her transformation—once Jemma, she now bears the name Katarina under the light of St. Cuthbert. No longer the uncertain girl you once knew, she has begun to blossom into a figure of faith and conviction. You witnessed one of her sermons, where beggar and noble alike leaned in to hear her words on the values of St. Cuthbert. A seed of hope has clearly been planted.

The next morning, you were summoned by Prince Draven. In the rush to deliver your tales, messages tangled together—some contradictory, some unclear. Ella Vinter was called in just to keep track of the torrent of words. Amidst the confusion, a few threads stood out: the mysterious 600 years of missing history, and your grave warning that, based on the prophecy of the blind seer Jenna, you believe Valthoria may be preparing to invade Umbrafell. The Prince did not fully grasp the weight of your words, but neither did he dismiss them. With a careful expression, he admitted that what you spoke of was strange and unsettling—perhaps even dangerous. Draven added that he had recently learned of a Veil Warden meeting in secret with the King, though the purpose of that conversation remains hidden from him.

Soon after, Katarina herself entrusted you with a new task: to find a missing boy. Following the trail, you pressed into a cavern of shadows where you were beset by flocks of necrotic birds, restless skeletons, and ravenous ghouls. Bloodied but unbroken, you’ve stepped outside the cave to catch your breath, knowing the terrors within demand clear minds and steady hearts.
